Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!

This year, we proudly continue our journey under our theme, Building Legacy Together: Pioneers Leading the Way. Champions in the Making. At Harold W. Lang Sr. Middle School, we believe that every student, family member, educator, and community partner plays an important role in shaping the legacy of our school. Together, we are creating a culture where leadership, excellence, and opportunity thrive.

A legacy is built through the actions we take each day. It is reflected in our commitment to learning, our determination to overcome challenges, and our willingness to support one another. As Pioneers, we embrace the responsibility of leading with purpose, setting high expectations, and inspiring others through our actions.

At Lang, we are dedicated to providing meaningful learning experiences that prepare students for success in high school, college, careers, and beyond. Through rigorous academics, leadership opportunities, CTE pathways, fine arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities, our students are developing the skills, confidence, and character needed to become tomorrow’s leaders.

This year, our focus remains clear: to empower every Pioneer to recognize their potential and pursue excellence. Champions are not simply born—they are made through perseverance, resilience, discipline, and a growth mindset. Each day presents a new opportunity to learn, improve, and contribute to something greater than ourselves.

Building a lasting legacy requires strong partnerships. We are grateful for the support of our families, staff, and community members who work alongside us to ensure every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired. Together, we will continue creating a learning environment where students are encouraged to dream big, work hard, and achieve their goals.

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I encourage every member of the Lang family to embrace the opportunities ahead, lead with courage, and contribute to the positive legacy we are building together.
