Service & Leadership

At Harold W. Lang Sr. Middle School, the Leadership Cadet Corps (LCC) empowers students to become confident, responsible leaders within their school and community. Through structured leadership training, cadets develop skills in communication, decision-making, teamwork, and goal-setting, while participating in community service to cultivate a sense of responsibility and civic pride. The program incorporates uniforms, ranks, and leadership roles, helping students build discipline, accountability, and organizational skills. Cadets also engage in physical fitness, outdoor activities, and team-building exercises, promoting health, cooperation, and resilience. By emphasizing character development and integrity, LCC prepares HW Lang Pioneers to lead with confidence, respect, and purpose.
