At Harold W. Lang Sr. Middle School, Garden Club gives students the chance to explore the natural world while developing hands-on skills in gardening and environmental stewardship. Members learn about planting, nurturing, and maintaining gardens, as well as the importance of sustainability and caring for our planet. The club fosters teamwork and collaboration as students work together on projects that beautify the school and create green spaces for the community. Students also have opportunities to participate in garden-related events, workshops, and competitions, showcasing their growth and creativity. Through Garden Club, HW Lang Pioneers cultivate not only plants but also responsibility, patience, and a deeper connection to the environment.

At Harold W. Lang Sr. Middle School, the Esports Club offers students the opportunity to develop strategic thinking, teamwork, and competitive skills through organized video game competitions. Members participate in tournaments and practice sessions that encourage collaboration, communication, and problem-solving under pressure. The club fosters a supportive community where students can share their passion for gaming while building confidence and leadership skills. Students also learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship, perseverance, and goal-setting as they represent HW Lang in local and regional competitions. Through Esports Club, HW Lang Pioneers combine technology, strategy, and teamwork to compete and grow both in and out of the game.
